All services are subject to separate quotations, agreements, and applicable local and international regulations.

• All quotations are indicative unless otherwise stated in writing.
• Rates are subject to cargo details, dimensions, weight, route, permits, customs requirements, fuel costs, and market conditions.
• Additional charges may apply for storage, demurrage, detention, waiting time, permits, inspections, customs examinations, escorts, cranes, special handling, and any services requested after quotation issuance.

Customers shall:

Customs clearance and governmental approvals are subject to the requirements and decisions of the relevant authorities. Bassam Shipping Company shall not be responsible for delays, penalties, inspections, seizures, or additional costs imposed by customs or government authorities.

Any delivery schedules, estimated arrival dates, or transit times provided are estimates only and are not guaranteed. Bassam Shipping Company shall not be liable for losses arising from delays caused by factors beyond our reasonable control.

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• Bassam Shipping Company shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages.
• Our liability for loss or damage shall be limited in accordance with the applicable transport convention, carriage contract, insurance policy, or applicable law.
• We shall not be liable for loss, damage, or delay resulting from force majeure events.

Bassam Shipping Company shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performance caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to:

• Port congestion
• Customs delays
• Government actions or restrictions
• Strikes or labor disputes
• Severe weather conditions
• Natural disasters
• War, terrorism, or civil disturbances
• Equipment breakdowns beyond reasonable control

Cargo insurance is not included unless specifically requested and confirmed in writing. Customers are strongly advised to obtain adequate cargo insurance coverage for all shipments.

Responsibility and liability for cargo shall rest solely with the carrying shipping line while the cargo remains onboard the vessel. Upon discharge of the cargo from the vessel at the port of destination or any designated discharge point, all responsibility, risk, and liability in respect of the cargo shall cease insofar as Bassam Shipping Company and the shipping line are concerned.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Bassam Shipping Company, its affiliates, employees, agents, representatives, and the shipping line shall not be liable for any loss, damage, deterioration, shortage, contamination, delay, theft, misdelivery, or consequential damages arising from or relating to the cargo after discharge, regardless of the cause of such loss or damage. Any claims relating to the cargo after discharge shall be directed to the party having custody, control, or responsibility for the cargo at that time. Nothing in this provision shall be construed as creating any obligation, warranty, or liability beyond those expressly required under applicable laws, regulations, or contractual agreements.
